Zinnia said, "I found this story a nice change of pace from the usual shape shifter story. It is unusual to find a paranormal/shape shifter story set in what can only be described as the Middle Ages."
As to my female characters, she said this:
"...writing some very strong female characters. Aislinn was a breath of fresh air. She never hesitated in any step of her journey. She went after everything with a strength and determination that was admirable. Senga is at first, rather unlikable, but as she comes to realize her true feelings about Taran and life in general, she started to grow on me. And of course I must mention Sorcha. As a mother and human she has a unique perspective to what her children are experiencing. She mother’s with the best of them. She knows when to step in and offer advice and when to just get out of the way."

Tawny Taylor's latest release, WICKED NIGHTS, the second book in her Passion Unbound series, answers that question for one lucky freelance writer. (Changeling Press, Jan. 17, 2008)
If you could be kidnapped by any man, who would it be?
And thus it was from the beginning of time. Two knights. One bride. They whispered their story to The Chosen, a human endowed with the gift of Hearing... The Chosen wrote the story and released it into the human world.
The bait was set. The spell was cast. And then they waited...(An excerpt from the Ierd Kimeno, the sacred text of the Twelfth Knight Brotherhood)
Freelance writer Cheryl Witte loves her romance novels as much as the next girl. Her favorite -- Dangerous Knights, the story of two dominant, sexy vampires, Cy and Maksim. To be possessed by two dark and dangerous Masters? One word, yum! But that’s just fantasy. It could never happen in real life... right? She wouldn’t want it to.
Then again, maybe it could...and maybe she would.
Cheryl is onto the story of the century, about a portal that allows real men--dangerous and barbaric ones --to travel into the human world and kidnap unsuspecting women. You bet she’s willing to take her chances for that kind of story. A paper cut and a few muttered words could make all her wishes come true, including a cover story in the NY Times. Not to mention bring the men of her fantasies, Cy and Maksim, to life.
She sets up some cameras, arms herself with a tranquilizer, and waits. And waits…until…one minute she’s sleeping, the next she’s dragged into a world of her imagination, to face her darkest desires... and most shocking secrets.
Cy and Maksim have their own challenges to face. But nothing can stop them from
introducing their fiery new bride to the rapture of complete submission.

So, for the heroine Cheryl, the kidnappers of her fantasies were two sexy, dark and mysterious vamps from a novel she'd just read. And in the first book, they were a pair of powerful feline shapeshifters from that heroine's fave book. Tawny thought it would be a lot of fun writing stories about women who came face-to-face with their fantasy guys. And she was right!
Who would it be for you? Would he (or they) be a character in a book? Or maybe a movie? Or how about a singer in a fave band...or old crush from high school? Anyone want to share?
If you could be kidnapped by any man, who would it be?

Viscaria said, "I have to say that I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for suspense, romance, intrigue with a bit of the paranormal tossed in. I fell in love with the characters and especially with Jenny’s “tiger”. All in all, a great and satisfying read I enjoyed."
As to opening with a murder scene, she said this:
"I believe that the author handled it very well. The information wasn’t overpowering--if anything it was fascinating how Debbie Mumford dealt with the skepticism on the part of the police and the quiet frustration on the part of the psychics when they tried to deal with each other."

“Sasha White’s WICKED definitely lives up to its name; the sizzling hot and sexy storyline has characters you’ll fall in love with.”-Fresh Fiction.com
“This fast moving story is sure to keep you wanting more with its erotic action, delightful characters and intriguing plot. It was also nice to hear Karl’s story after getting to know him a bit in Bound and Trouble, though reading the previous stories isn’t imperative to keep up in Wicked. 5 Angles!”- Fallen Angels.com
Readers first met Karl Dawson in BOUND, they’ll get to know him a little better in TROUBLE, but one woman will learn all in WICKED.
Bad-boy divorce attorney Karl Dawson has seen all the ways love can go wrong. That’s why he’s given up on it. Jaded and feeling restless, he has playmates, not girlfriends. A leather-clad Dominant, he comes and goes in the city’s after-dark playgrounds as he pleases. That’s how he likes it.
Lara Fox is an independent jack-of-all-trades who can do anything she sets her mind to - except that falling-in-love thing. She’s got a need for control too strong for most men, and an inability to walk away from a challenge. Including a challenge like Karl. He’s cocky, arrogant, and demanding. That’s how she needs it.
They’re perfect for each other. But what begins as a sensual battle of wills turns into a journey neither is prepared for when Lara is threatened and emotional walls start to crumble.
